Well;

This man presented World's rolling coverage of Ameria Under Attack, a few hours after the initial strikes; he's chaired economic and political debates, he announced Princess Diana's death live on air to a global audience estimated at around half a billion people, launching and presenting The World Today, Newsdesk and Europe Direct, as well as filling in on programmes like Hard Talk and Simpson's World. (not all at the same time thankfully!)

Shes worked on Business Report and then sodded off to Washington; has little presenting ability, but is slightly good - looking.
Plus, a quote from a good friend - "there are NO jokes in any of her bulletins"

The comparison is clear Very Happy

You may well think that, but I couldn't possibly comment. Wink

In recent times it's been the presenters on duty that have been breaking the news with World taking a simulcast, as to something like September 11th happened(please, it should never happen ever), presumably it has to be Phillip Hayton?

More likely to be the duty BBC One face as they would no doubt have News 24 on BBC One.

I think she's a good presenter, very fluid, rarely stutters, almost robot like, , that photo dosen't make her look good, but on a TV screen, she looks gorgeous!

There are no jokes, but she does smile, but a lot less these days then when she used to do WBR.
