what are your fave tv programmes titles & credits? mine has got to be:

1. the raccoons (titles & credits!)

2. doctor who (1966 titles)

3. doctor who (1970 titles & credits)

4. doctor who (1973 & 1974 titles & credits)

5. doctor who (1980-1986 titles & credits)

6. grange hill (titles & credits) with the theme tune they still use today!)

I can understand you saying the 70s version of the Doctor Who title sequences, but why do you like the 60s and 80s ones so much? I personally think they are dire! Unless you're talking about the theme tune, because the Peter Howell 80s Version is brilliant.

Im not ashamed to admit this, but i love the Neighbours tune, i dont watch it, i only turn over to hear it.

The thing that REALLY annoys me is on mosy programmes the announcers talk over it, and not just a little bit, through about 90% of it. I hate it!! shoot them all lol

For those on the BBC, blame the marketing department for spoiling our credit viewing pleasure by squashing them, cutting them and talking over the audio. Apparently they have much control over such things.

Then it's about time they were reined in. Marketing have spoiled our presentation enough without encroaching into the look and feel of programmes.
