Yes it was called Runway.

It wasn't having that and This Morning that was strange, but the trail for This Morning which went out at 9:25. At the end of that Richard or Judy had to introduce a programme presented by Richard, often he'd say 'and now over to me' or similar

Good one, Inspector. At least I'm not the only one who remembered Richard handing over to himself.
He used the 'but first, here's me' one a lot, although once where the live trail under-ran, he span the brilliant line..
"right now though, I suppose I could show you my summer holiday snaps, although that would be dull, so let me show you something else I did back in July which is a lot more entertaining"

I used to like Turnabout - but watching as a child I was fascinated by the water in the middle of the studio! Can anyone explain how that was done? Was it some kind of CSO trickery? Surely it can't have been a real pool of water!

According to UK Game Shows, yes it was, and they employed someone to create ripples in it.

Catchword was on BBC2 at four o'clock, very much the BBC2 equivalent of Countdown. That slot then became home to Today's The Day for years and years and years.

From the clip posted, it appears they cut away as he walks in front of the "pool". Perhaps just a coincidence?
