Fav ITV Regional News programme

Now everyone can see all 16 ITV1 regions via Sky Digital, which one do you watch the most? I have converted from Meridian Tonight to Central News at Six - Central News is the best!

I like Central News best, however I prefer Central News East which is NOT on DSat.

I've ditched London Tonight for HTV Wales News with a smattering of Calendar and a pinch of Anglia News (if it was Anglia News East I'd watch it a lot more - hint hint Sky)

I have to say that most of the channels seem to have had a sense of humour bypass. I have not seen any other channels that are as funny as Tyne Tees can get at the end of their programme and so for that they must get a mention. In fact I have been rather disappointed by most of them -- surely the point is to be local and a bit tongue-in-cheek, not all wooden and professional and try to be like the national news (which too many of the other regions try to be).

I like Central News East But If I dont want to watch that, I turn to 751 and watch Calendar East- neither are on DSat! Authough if I use my aerial, I also get YTV (Leeds) from emely which is the station I use (on Dsat) YTV South (Not on DSat) and TTTV (On DSat). Strangly I cant get CARLTON Central through my aerial.

I like the London Tonight studio, But it is awfully dark when presenting the show during the winter.

You can hardly tell between the dark outside, black desk or walls etc!.

Others I've watched on SKY, Granada Tonight, Lookaround, Central News, North East Tonight, Westcountry Live and Channel Report.

What's the difference between Central News West and East then.

Big difference. Different studio, different presenters, different stories. its pretty much a different programme to the west.

Even different graphics/title music?
