Just spotted an episode of Father Ted scheduled for BBC 2, 22:50 on 8 Nov after a Catherine Tate and before a Fast Show.

Anyone know if this is part of a theme night?

That's odd, considering More 4 are still showing them.

Must be a theme night surely, but what links Catherine Tate to Father Ted?

Geoffrey Perkins springs to my mind?

Oh right, ok

I don't watch Catherine Tate, that's why I couldn't make the connection Laughing

I didn't mean that in a "Oh my God, it's obviously Geoffrey Perkins" manner by the way, that's merely my suggestion.

Ah fair enough then. Nice to see the channels more flexible than they used to be all those years back (see ITV3 for most of their schedule at one time been full of old BBC 1 shows)

Makes sense now... his Wikipedia article says he had cameos in Catherine Tate and Father Ted. Presumably the Fast Show also. There's a Comedy Connections airing before these three also - don't know which episode but presumably the Harry Enfield one.

Yes as other have said it looks like a Geoffrey Perkins evening to me. I wish they'd show an episode of KYTV, he's an onscreen performer in that one.
