YO
It was a brilliant episode tonight, i'm glad I stayed in although I wonder if that Simon is going to be a recurring character as it didn't mention him when they did that bit about next weeks episode.
And who was that they said is in remembrance of.... anyone any ideas?

I Missed Fat friends last night (Well it was New Years Day, so any excuse to get pi***d) so will have to watch on ITV2 on Tuesday at 9pm.
I'm a little annoyed that I have to wait ages for ITV2 to show the re:play. They show Pop Idol, Corrie, Emmerdale and all the other do dar a day or so after its been on ITV1, so its annoying that I have to wait 5 days to catch a repeat of this on 2!
Also, I see that on the Sky EPG, the ITV1 eps are on Wednesday at 9, and not Thursday like this week. I think Thursday is a much better day than Wednesday to show Fat friends, so wonder why the shove it on a Wednesday, and Thursday having some new muck on.

Was this actually said within the programme? If so it's a relaxation of their presentation rules, which specifically ban mentioning of production centres or their locations (although of course mentioning of London still slips through; as usual the London based prats who made these policies like to make their own location exempt).

The fat friends appear on the Trisha show. Carol says they're off to Yorkshire TV for the filming. Isn't Trisha produced by Anglia? Or is Fat Friends produced by Yorkshire and they're pretending.

It was indeed in the programme - and in the trailer, as well. I remember thinking it at the time, but decided not to say anything to my flatmate, who seemed more interested in the plot.

I think with some drama's ITV2 show the repeat the night before the next episode is due to be shown on ITV1. ITV did this with Footballers Wives and Bad Girls.

It was the actor James Hazeldine (best known for 'Bayleaf' in London's Burning) who played Ian - Simon's natural father in the last series. He died in December 2002.
