That is more or less what they've been doing for years. 'Grandstand' has only been used for the 5 minute intro to the afternoon's programming and as a suffix to other titles.

And even then it wasn't used all the time - there was no 'World Cup Grandstand' last summer

Interestingly, in TV Easy at least, next week's programmes are all branded "Six Nations Grandstand".

Don't know about other TV listings mags - but was the decision left so late it didn't make it in time for the printing press?

Radio Times simply has it as Six Nations Rugby, not a Grandstand in sight.

Not quite - it's not on the listings pages but on the feature about the rugby the show is referred to at the top as "Six Nations Grandstand".

in TV and Satellite Week it is listed as Grandstand,Just looked at SKY EPG as it is ont listed as Grandstand.
