What on Earth is this pile of absolute drivel currently airing on Channel 4?

It's one of those shows when you feel genuinely sorry for the audience, having to pretend to laugh every 3 seconds at nobodies making jokes.

Westcountry idiot, camp gay man, ''new'' woman, and some other ponce, all sitting around a sofa, discussing nothing.

Surely 4 can do better than this.

No, they seem to be lost in their own hype an the moment. Shame. Jimmy Carr says it all really about the quality of Channel 4's own programmes.

Jokes? I saw about 15 mins of it last night and didn't hear one 'joke'...

As for the audience pretending to laugh, I don't think they were. It sounded canned to me, and hopefully the whole show will be too!

From what I understand Justin Lee Collins is only on this week. The series runs for three weeks with the weird bloke from Peep Show hosting one week and the woman from Smack the Pony hosting the other.

Not seen it so can't comment - but the ad with JLC saying "Fack You" at the end was enough to put me off!

Eurgh - Justin Lee Colins is just vile isn't he.

He was pretty funny when he wasn't very well known - i.e. Flipside on Nation217 and Paramount - but now that he's become popular and seems to be on every crap or spin off programme at the moment, he's just gotten annoying.

I really hate that JLC guy. Why he has a job is beyond me.

What is wrong with Channel 4 at the moment? They're hardley living up to their remit. Do they have a charter renewly type thing as a PSB? It seemed to give the BBC's shows a kick in the right direction.

This really is what JLC is like isn't it. 'weirdo' humour. Doesn't do it for me i'm afraid. Rolling Eyes

JLC has done the odd thing on BBC3 in the past and I must admit his Bristolian accent is vile, and this is coming from a fellow Bristolian.

It's bad enough hearing it here in Bristol but it goes right through me when I hear it on TV. And as for calling the show, FAQ U Rolling Eyes
