If *YOU* could run an ITV1 station, how would you do things? Here's what I'd do. I'm offering a fantasy TV schedule for a new company, MSTV (MidShire TeleVision) who have ousted Carlton Central (hooray!) and here's how MSTV1 are doing things (using their own branding 100%, UTV/STV style - no ITV branding during the day bar itn news to be seen!)
06.00 GMTV 09.25 Watch To Wiin 09.29 Midshire News Update 09:30 Trisha 10.30 This Morning 12.28 Midshire News Update 12:30 ITV Lunchtime News 13:00 Midshire Lunchtime 13:35 The Biggest Game In Town 14:05 Crossroads/Ethinc Minority Show 14:35 Factual Regional Show 15:05 News 15:20 CITV 17:05 The People Versus 17:30 Local Soap Opera (name TBC)/BGIT 18:00 Midshire News Hour with the ITV Evening News at 18.30 19:00 Crossroads/Weekenders (Friday local chat show) 19:30 Coronation St/Regional Show 20:00 Emmerdale 20:30 Network Programming except the usual regional slots
except Fridays 22.30 It's Friday - debate show 23:30 Crossroads Omnibus 01:30 Joins LNN
Just a suggestion - mainly to show how i'd screw the network planning.
I hate naughty word filters - they scrape the hell out of me under the circumstances!
