Which Famous People have you met

I was just thinking has anyone ever met any TV star's and they where really nice and has anyone met any that are not so nice?

My Mate met Clare and Sarah of Hollyoaks and they seemed nice

Bumped into Derek Acorah at Tesco Litherland, quite literally. I'd already seen him a few minutes before. Suddenly he was right in front of me. His trolley bumped into mine. He grunted, and walked off.

I doubt anyone can top THAT.

So far I've met Carol Vorderman and Gareth Jones. Just Fred Dineage to go to complete the set.

Tony Francis off of Heart of/tales from the Country told me to turn a radio down during the 2006 World Cup, and made some amusing remark something like "you've probably missed Andriy Shevchenko scoring a hat-trick" seemed like a nice bloke.

Whilst I enjoyed telling that tale, it's not really suitable for TV Forum.

I met BBC WM's Phil Upton round the corner from my home, trying to find Walsall Bus Depot!

About twenty years ago, I appeared in a local programme hosted by a younger and thinner Eamonn Holmes.

On one 3 day break in Blackpool, my girlfriend saw some guy from Hollyoaks, Leslie Grantham (the only one I could verify) and Tim Vincent.

I believe you, I met him when he opened a museum on the Isle of Wight in 1996

watched the BBC South and Meridian local news presenters film live from cowes for cowes week

also met the north west tonight news presenters, Gorden Burns, Ranvir Singh, Diane Oxberry and Tony Livey when they presented the programme from my town in 2007

when i was a child met Peter adamson (len fairlough) far too long ago to remember the exact year

saw Jean Alexander shopping on the local supermarket in 2002, she asked me to pass her a loaf of bread

not only saw but appeared on the antiques road show, only in the background, when they came to Northampton in 1990, took a picture off the tv but have since lost it

also seen Antiques road show, Dickinson's real deal and flog it filmed locally a year or so back, they even let you take photos as long as you dont get in the way


saw some of the cast of Coronation street filming when I was on the studio tour in 1993, Martin, Sally and the two toddlers who played Rosie and David, didn't exacly 'meet' them

and I have worked with nearly one thousand children in my career so some of them will have to be famous at some point in their lives (being a tad pedantic there)

it's surprising who you meet now that a lot of tv is filmed on location rather than in TV studios
