Family Guy on ITV2 from the Autumn

Fox no longer has American dad, some cable company has the new 11 series, which is a vast improvement.

Does itv2 have the rights to this new series?

I think London Lite meant Fox UK, the channel that used to be FX. Not the US broadcaster, which has indeed axed American Dad resulting in it moving to TBS.

That's correct. I should have been clearer on that.

So where will bbc dump family guy? If bbc2 it will interfere with other programmes, So 00.20 is the ealiset slot or 00.50 in Scotland.

If BBC1 it will see the nations playing it up to hour later.

I thought FOX in the UK has treated the shows both fairly well - I especially enjoy the back-to-back American Dad! episodes they frequently show. My issue with ITV2 having four shows is that the rotation rate probably won’t be as high for some of them. Probably good for most viewers but I only really like American Dad! so shame the shows couldn’t have been spread around a bit.

Also, I’ll have to hear forced “fun voice” announcers, and might stumble upon that awful entertainment round-up ITV2 airs, usually presented by a nobody with a weird, sarky tone, signing off with the generic “see you next time”, like anyone actually cares.

^Yeah, BBC Three DIDN'T EXIST in 1999! And I'm pretty sure the BBC only got the rights a few years later.

It must have been in 2006 BBC three got it when the new series come back?

I was just about to edit it then somebody beat me to it, though they've put down 2004 as the BBC Three start date for Family Guy.

Sorted. 2007 it started on BBC3, Not sure about Fox, but was that 2006?
