I agree but it looks like a lot of story lines are starting to be wrapped up.

Worth a reminder for all you Video Capturing fans that this long lasting soap which started when Channel Five sprung to life in March 1997 has it's last transmission this coming Friday evening on five at 6.30pm

So it looks as if the residents of Charnham will live happily ever after.

Joey is the lacklustre spin-off from Friends. Admittedly some episodes are quite good but on the whole it is a very poor replacement for Friends.

Why not create some nostalgia by creating new episodes of gameshows such as Blockbusters, Winner Takes All, Jeopardy, Going For Gold etc.... oe even bring back 100% or Whittle (gameshows that first brought Channel 5 to life). Cheap enough and entertaining - far different to News on both ITV1 and BBC1 and various types of programmes on BBC and Hollyoaks on Channel 4.

They could even do something diiferent each day such as:-

Monday - Gameshows
Tuesday - Entertainment News genre - a bit like America's Entertainment Tonight (ET)
Wednesday - lifestyle magazines suchas Wish You Were Here (Thames - which is owned by Bertlesmann/RTL - owners of Five); Cookery series, Consumer series (a bit like Watchdog)
Thursday - Sports Preview series (a bit like Granada's old regional Kick-off series)
Friday - Something like The Chart Show
