Alex has an amazing voice, there are traces of Joni Mitchell and other great female folk singers.

Fame Academy Number 1 on a Saturday? I think it's a number two... Laughing

It had the highest audience during the overlap did it not.

I could make a very crude comment involving number two and STICKY here but I won't.

I'm beginning to think that Pop Idol is the 'Poor Man's Fame Academy'.....

lol... I'm not taking sides. Just saw an opportunity for a Fame Academy joke there.

Of course, despite having higher ratings during the overlap, Pop Idol had more viewers in general so it's an interpretation of "Number one"... Confused

oh don't worry. Keep it up - according to that silly sod Ison we aren't being made sticky because we aren't popular enough. Therefore if we keep talking about it we should get stucked.

So that is a full discussion in here about the final and the BBC Three show afterwards.

Why is BBC Three scheduling Fame Academy Live every night? Everyone who has BBC Three has live streaming with the red button now - bit of a waste.

Also as much as I like the live streaming, last night the "Even Fame Academy can't show some things" message stayed on for over an hour (most of time when the sound was being broudcast). Did someone in the production team fall asleep?

Anyway - I'm adding my support for the STICKY . Far better than Pop Idol!

Barry will not be singing for survival tonight because he has a throat infection - would we be able to tell the difference?

I'm on NTL, and I've got it!

I suppose I'm in a lucky ex-CWC area though...

But when you do eventually get it, it's very novel!

I'm surprised he hasn't been chucked out - Katie was. If he doesn't get better soon I want him out. I'd have to agree though - he has such a terrible voice there wouldn't be much difference.

This is what caused Naomi Roper to go out in the first series, voice-related illness, remember.....
