(Yeah, I know the image of Alex is a bit small, but it had to be made that small, to keep the sig image within
acceptable size limits, and so as not to be replaced by a moderator with "Signature Image Invalid" again!)

I'm back.

Been away over the weekend and had to set up gran's new Freeview box to tape the first half then speed through most of it and BBC3 to watch the second half live.

Very impressed with the show itself - better than last year IMO. Of course Alex only won because this is the single week I didn't vote for Alistair. However the Dark Horse sequence on BBC3 cheered me up immensly.

HOWEVER - Beddingfield made a tit of himself - he was meant to give reviews of both not a part political broadcast for Alex (you could tell Patrick was not happy).

Best part of the show though were Ali and Alex's own songs both of which were sung so much better than the others in the show.

Yes, she recorded her single release this morning

I assume it's her own song, and not a cover of someone else's song . . . ?

Yes, it's the original song from last nights programme

What about the "B" side? "Imagine" perhaps . . . ?

When is the single coming out? Has a date been fixed?

When will the decision be made either to make a series 3 or to axe it|?

I think a series 3 could just be for CBBC. That might work.

the final had 8m viewers - the results. the 1st show had 6.4m and beat PI so i dont see why there wouldnt be an FA3, especially if next time there isnt competition of the same kind of show.
