I would gladly like to see the back of either Peter or Barry - neither should have got in in the first place.....
Peter is great, a real character and doesn't take himself as seriously as some in the house. I could quite happily see the back of Lenny Krav....er, Paris.

EDIT: I voted to keep Alex and Lorna in the Fame Academy....
My completely biased opinion is that Alex is the best of the lot!
I enjoyed FA last night, it was a little rushed but it did have 13 songs to get through.
Shame about Alex's mic packing up, I think she's great and I'm not even into that kind of music. Paris is a complete tosser, not keen on him at all and Gary is just as annoying.
Peter has no talent as far as I can see, his voice is terrible.
I thought Saturday's coverage was cool on BBC1 and Claudia was a delight to watch as always.
Well I'm playing with the downloady music thing at the moment. It's very rude as there is a javascript thing to detect IE and WMP9 but if it can't detect it the page just stops - no "Sorry you can't use Netscape" message or anything.
It seems you have to pay for them - 99p each at the Freeserve shop.
. . . we dont really care about the response from the FA judges as much as they arent 'as famous' . . .
You Really think so? Well, let's take one of the judges from either show and make the necessary comparisons . . .
Fame Academy - Robin Gibb:
Established singer/songwriter, and a member of one of the UK's most famous pop bands (BeeGees) for 40+ years.
Pop Idol - Simon Cowell:
Record company boss, tries to be like Anne Robinson and fails, and until 18 months ago, virtually unknown!
I rest my case for the defense m'lud!
Bad comparison, try comparing Robin Gibb to Pete Waterman, and then some of the other FA ones to the other Pop Idol ones, like that FA bloke, tries to be Anne Robinson, fails and is still virtually unknown!
Ah yes, Pete Waterman. Another record company boss, but also a part time steam train enthusiast. Until he signed
up Kylie and Jason to his PWL record label in 1988, he too was virtually unknown. Used to say "BE-AAVE!" a lot!
While I'm about it, here's another comparison between Robin Gibb and Simon Cowell . . .
Robin Gibb:
Due to being one of the BeeGees for the last four decades, has collected many gold discs, to display in his mansion(s).
Simon Cowell:
Due to being very rich, has purchased many gold belt buckles to ensure he has his trousers tightly fastened around
his ribcage! One of these days, he'll fasten one a bit too tight and inadvertently give himself the Heimlich Manoevure!
. . . we dont really care about the response from the FA judges as much as they arent 'as famous' . . .
Well that is true, but then Simon Cowell and NIcky Chapman are only well known for the programme they're on.... nothing else outside (not as high a profile as Pete)
And Dr Fox is famous for presenting a 3 hour radio show every week, and erm...... that's it
Well from what I can gather from the Live feed Barry is leaving.
All the students were told to gather in the dining room at which point Carrie started talking but it cut to the outside shot. From listning to what Gary was saying it looks as if his throat got the better of him and he is busy packing his bags.
Good. I always thought he was rubbish.
Anyhow if he is going how will he be replaced? Remember that David Sneddon was the replacement last year and he went and won.

Furthermore, who'd want to be remembered for bringing crateloads of synthetic musical pap to the charts? Not me!!

He does drivetimes on 95.8 Capital FM too, as well as swing for Chris Tarrant. In additon, all 4 people on Pop Idol are known - I recognise Pete, Simon, Neil and Nicky totally instanty. I know ONE person in Lame Academy - Robin from the Bee Gees - not a band that those kids buy in droves either I bet, even if they do like the songs.
