Although I didn't see Peter this week (or last), I can well imagine how he performed. A weekly show couldn't really serve an over-the-top performer such as he, as he would indeed become extremely tiresome. A pity for him really, as he probably would never be so over-exposed if he'd gone on to win.

Out of the three remaining students, who do you think has the broadest marketing possibilities?

he was quite still this week actually. The problem was his behavior inside the house with the whole kissing Caz thing. The streams do have an effect.

Does anybody think fame academy is fixed? I do because peter was great. The public wouldn't vote him out! Would they?

He's been in the last 3 for several weeks - there obviously hasn't been that much support for him in the long run... just like what happened to Paris a few weeks ago

It an interesting question to pose Katherine, as I'm not really in the market to buy any of their records. From a personal standpoint I would like Alex to win, purely becuase she is so distinctive and I've really enjoyed hearing what she does with any given track. Every time I've heard her she has given me something new and unexpected, which is not easy when working from catalogues of well known songs.

Carolynne isn't really my bag, either as a reaility-show personality or as a singer, but I'm sure she'll work at the end of this.

Alistair is the one I find the most engaging on television. Very funny lad, and very enjoyable to watch in his most candid moments. No doubt good company for the students who spend a lot of time in his company.

The difficult thing for this type of show is the promise of stardom they offer after the Academy series ends. As a viewer my interest will end once the race is over. I don't care either way how they get on afterwards (and most of the public don't either - look at Sneddon).

All the BBC (and ITV) want to acheive is viewers. Any success at the end will be lucky for the kids, but isn't exactly required.

No. Peter was just a hyperactive, scruffy, gormless, annoying tw*t!

Wrong. Peter cannot sing. How the hell he managed to get as far as the semi-final is a complete mystery. He
should've been voted out in the early rounds. Any credibility David Grant had went out of the window when he
said to Peter, "You've got a lovely voice!". WTF?!? Is he tone deaf? Or was he talking to someone else?

How do you know this? What is making you suspicious about it?

I think there might be a bit of Weakest Link Strategy at play here - they could be voting off who they actually deem the 'Strongest Link' to preserve their place in the Academy. The Fame Game is a pretty vicious and tough game to play, maybe that's the answer. Their voting off Peter could well be tactics-based, rather than ability based.

No, I don't see how it could have been - unless someone tampered with the telephone/Internet voting system which I think would have been highly unlikely. If there is fixing, it's bloody hard to spot or figure out.....
