Fame Academy - Alex Wins!

I would gladly like to see the back of either Peter or Barry - neither should have got in in the first place.....

EDIT: I voted to keep Alex and Lorna in the Fame Academy....

Audley has gone. It was a poor performance although I thought Barry's was worse - like Tom Jones style sickeningness.

I'm not impressed with the website tonight. I can't find the music and it hasn't been updated for the eviction yet. tut tut.

The WAP site is even worse, it's not been updated since this morning!

I don't know what it is about Alex - she has an unconventional, yet compelling beauty, and very modest too - the best of the bunch in my humble opinion.

Louise was saved by the teachers tonight. Was this due to her "outstanding talent" or for tabloid fodder?

I think people are being horrid to Louise just because of Jenson. I think she's a great singer and has loads of talent. tsk.

Anyhow - Ithink there is some problem with the BBC website updating as the advert for the track downloading with a publish time of 19.59 just popped up now.

I feel sorry for Louise, she has wanted to do this without promoting the fact she is Jensen's girlfriend.

She does have a very good voice, but I don't think she is in the same league as Alex.

She's already got a recording contract anyhow, why does she need to put herself through this? It's not as if her life will change much if she wins anyway, Jenson gives her the multi-million pound lifestyle that the winner gets already. She's also used to being in the public eye, so what's her motivation?

Louise wants to prove that she can make herself popular without having to resort to the "Jensen" Factor.

In an interview with FA's personal tutor Jeremy, she has already said that she won't win, due to the fact that she has a "millionnaire boyfriend."

The teachers/judges just don't cut it in Fame Academy - they seem to be focusing on whether performers can be an international superstar when the only real issue is are they good enough to stay on the show. They also make far too many comparisons to estabhlished stars - I think the critism on Pop Idol is far more contructive.

Didn't like the format tonight - far too rushed. Also, have BBC1 viewers now completely lost out on update shows.

Do you think she'd have had the motivation to audition and would be on the show without the 'Jenson' factor?

well to me she seems very strong willed and nice so I'd say she probably would have gone for it.
