The same cannot be said for Pop Idol's Darius Danesh either, his debut album "Dive In" was self-penned.

Yes, and from what I've heard of it on various radio stations etc.. it was total rubbish.

Ah well there you see is where all credibility of your argument fails. You make claim that the reason that FA stands out from PI is that the artists create their own material. When I point out to you that a PI artist did the very same, you dismiss it in a poor fashion which weakens your whole argument.

And you remain as charming, open-minded and objective as usual..... (sees porcine animal fly over the roof of the house across the road)

I dispute your argument that says Darius alone wrote his hits. He didn't. He's got at least five co-writers (or 'crutches') it seems, from looking at song lyric websites.

David Sneddon needed no co-writers to help him achieve the Number One spot at all. His is the 'purer' hit.

hmm - whatever.

I've noticed something interesting with the friendships though. As Pete and Caz are coming together Alex seems to have drifted from her and is now very chummy with Alistair who is loney as he's lost James.

Now all I have to do is work out why they all have stupid clothes on at the minute,

I think there's an article about their relationships and other things in the current edition of 'Now' magazine, if you want to get some further information.....

Not that bad.... 'Colourblind' was a great track. Far better than anything Young or Gates have churned out

Is anyone other than Katherine or Hymagumba watching this programme? Latest I heard is that it's being axed because it's so poor.

Haven't heard that - my family watches Fame Academy, as does my friend and her family up the road....

The programme isn't poor, the ratings haven't been that good.
But it hasn't officially been axed

the ratings have been very good actually especially compared to last year. It's in the top 10 (minus soaps) of BBC1 shows in the Sunday Times mag.

They've denied it was being aced and taking into account that that article appeared in the Daily Star... well that writes it off really doesn't it.

Well, until some form of official statement is made on the matter, I will continue to assume it's business as usual.

Yep, 4-5 million doesn't sound a lot, but these days it is and it isn't that far off what the apparent opposition gets.

What amazes me is considering the audience figures, the reaction the programme is getting. The crowds at the gigs seem big and it really is getting talked about in the media and in public. .... finally
