What are the BBC doing with Fame Academy? How are viewers figures supposed to increase? With all these schedule changes and what have you. Viewers are bombarded with Fame Adacdemy on BBC THREE, BBC TWO in morning, CBBC ON BBC1 and on the CBBC CHANNEL... i'm surprised we've yet to see Cbeebies does Fame Academy where pre-school kids will write lyrics for the student to sing... and why has it not cropped up on BBC NEWS 24 or BBC PARLIAMENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dont get me wrong I like the show, but when the BBC show it one week on sunday the next on saturday, give no proper reason for getting rid of the wednesdays episode (which was beginnning to do well!!!) and the final straw... scheduling the results to a family entertainment series as 11.30pm!!! WHAT! Crazy.

Oh well, bye Paris.

11.05 isnt it? no wonder there isnt bigger ratings the way its shoved around the schedules.

I think it's more of a case of no wonder it's being shown at 11.05 considering the ratings they've received.

Actually it's doing quite well in the ratings - last week's show got over 6 million viewers. Ok, it was on a Sunday but it's still good. It's doing much better than the last series, anyway.

What? 2 schedule changes something like 11 weeks of regularity? They were both planned and scheduled well in advance..... that's a lot better than most programmes get these days.

They stopped Wednesdays because otherwise the series would have ended too quickly! The twice a week live shows were very tough-going for all concerned. It was always planned that way.

Part of that I think is that it is much simpler programmes. I didn't see much of last years, but the rules and eviction process were just too complex.

The reaction they've been getting at the various events and gigs they've been attending does seem out of proportion to the ratings..... which is good

YAY - PARIS HAS GONE. FAB.

It's not that bigger change and there was that trailer things between Casualty and the Proms. You can't move the Proms anyhow.

The eviction process wasn't that hard last year. The three "worst" were put up for the vote by the teachers and then the one with the most (or least, it was the hate vote last year) votes stayed and the other two were decided by student.

I think that was it wasn't it?

Yep - Richard Park also read out who'd be the three to go in front of the whole group.. that system from the first series should still be in place.

The current one doesn't work, especially opening the phone lines all week before the viewers have even seen how good or bad their vote performs before seeing it on the next week's show!!

Looks like peoples interest in Pop Idol has gone! Bit of a difliation in their ratings this saturday. As for Fame Adademy it pulled in a SOLID 4.3 million compared to a decreasing 6.3million for Pop Idol!

Things should pick up even more now.
