I know one of the contestants in Saturdays heat. There's no way that she is a clone of anyone!.

So young and so talented.... she makes me sick!

Honestly she is fantastic, I've heard her sing a few times and she is amazing and more than deserves a place on the academy

I did find that most of them said something like "I thought he was going to be rubbish (Boo Hiss from the crowd) but tonight I thought he was great (Yeah Whoo!)

Ah but it didn't make much different did it, he and Gareth have had almost identical careers. Question is would Will have had so much success if Gareth had won...I doubt it, they wouldn't have got behind him so much if he'd come second. Remember everyone expected Gareth to win.

The only place with enough cameras is the Big Brother House - too small. If they lose the mansion, they lose the show.

If the problems only with the showdown, they'd have to either go back to Shepperton, or maybe have it without an audience.

Fame Academy Live is now on 701. The highlights stream is not up yet. Perhaps that is because
1 - nothing much has happened yet or
2 - It's being saved for the proms

What does Sky have at the moment?

Yeah the Sky BBCi bit is poor this year.

Last year you had live link, highlights, student profiles and timetable - just live link so far.

Also noticed when you brought up the BBCi bridge on N24 it didn't give the option of Fame Academy, just that renovation programme - on BBC One you get both.

Digital Spy reports that the shows voting will now be the same as Pop Idol, with all contestants facing the public vote. I presume the two in last place will face the student vote.

How do the BBC get away with such an obvious rip-off? I thought with having just 3 sing for survival they could pass it off as a different format, but now I'm not to sure.

Well it's the first showdown tomorrow. What are everyone's thoughts about the new location in the main hall? I'm not so sure about it as although Sheperton was always too big and overly large there will be no audience this year apart from Friends and Family which I don't think will be as good.
