What time is the second programme on tonight?

well it was on at 8.45.

So Simone has gone - shame as I liked her. Nice to see that moron Paris up for the vote again although he was fantastic tonight - as much as I hate him it was a damn good performance.

Will nobody vote Barry out? What level of musical appreciation do the viewers have?

I think Barry is okay, but there is no way in the world he's going to win though.

Alex version of Words was mindblowing, the sooner she gets the record deal the better.

And am I the only one to think Paris is one dimentional? Okay luv you can sing in a high pitch voice, next!

May I just add I think Clauda Winkleman is fab, she's really turned the BBC3 coverage around this year. More Winkleman!!! Smile

nope - I think the same, one trick pony without charisma and with an ego as big as Shepperton. Did you see him feeling his own chest during yesterday's show? I don't see why the teachers keep saving him.

Barry and James should have been up for the vote yesterday as they were so generic - Simone shouldn't have gone.

Why are the lines open all week BTW? Doesn't that defeat the purpose of "voting on performance" which - luckily - the students have stuck to religiously, if it was on mates Gary would still be there.

has alistair gone yet? he is soooo poor. how did he even get in?????

he'd be good at doing childrens parties in a clown suit thou.

I agree with Hymagumba. Lines shouldn't be open all week. This goes to show that the intregrity of voting purely on performance has been lost.

It's now degenerated into a silly popularity contest. Much the same as Pap Idol.

I don't like you anymore. You've made Alistair cry.

He's always bloody crying LOL!

Does anyone know why the lines close while they are on stage?

What is the point of opening the lines before you've heard them sing.

Okay people, a question... who cares who'll win. Who will be huge and who will be a one minute wonder...

Alex - HUGE
Paris - OMW
Peter - OMW
Carolynne - BIG

The others won't get that fair either, although I do think Alistair would make a mint on songwriting.

i have to be honest hymagumba

i accept you may like him because of this physical appearance, but he is so plastic and so cheesy.

his vocal talents are probably best (and most kindly) described as mediocre.

i like that bloke who jumps around and has lots of pens in his pocket. he is a true star. forget his name.

that would be Peter.

I like Alistair's voice aswell actually.

I think Paris will be a one hit wonder - maybe a sound effects CD as a strangled cat.

Agree with you about Alex.
Paris will release a single or two but not reach number one, maybe he'll reach top 20 at best.
Peter - will open up a biro factory and compete with BIC pens and maybe a legan suit will follow. Career-wise, people might tire of hearing shouting quickly.
Carolynne - may do reasonably well.

Anyone think Alex and Ainslie from series 1 would do well in a band together?

if i am honest with you katherine, i think you are wrong.

i think they will all have a short shelf life. i might be wrong, and they may turn out to be legends like the beegees or the stones, but i doubt it somehow.

whoever gets a career out of this show (at least a couple of them will), they wont last. peoples tastes are evolving too quickly now, and it is very difficult for new talents to become established.
