like challenging the mental image Richard has in his mind for each of them.
well if you remember Carrie told Alex that Richard was ready to lay into her after the dress rehearsal on Wednesday but changed his tune after hearing her on the show.
What is this "nasal" thing he keeps whinging on about every time Alastair open his mouth? Noone else seems to know on the BBC3 show and I don't know either.
Much as I find the arguments between Patrick and Richard funny, I don't understand why Patrick hasn't been told to stop saying that Richard has no idea about the music business!
Richard is the headteacher and he wouldn't be doing that unless he knew about the industry. He used to be head of Capitol Radio didn't he, surely if he doesn't know what makes a pop artist, nobody does!
Did like it when he asked Gary who he was singing "Your Gorgeous" to and Gary said, "To all the gorgeous people - and YOUR not one of them!!!". Great stuff.
During the first series Patrick always questioned the teachers reguarding the performances from the side of the set in Shepperton and while the student was always a distance away standing with Cat on the ramp he didn't have to spare their feelings if the comments were harsh or cutting. Now in the second series he is a lot more guarding of the students feelings because they now stand right next to him. He can't seem like he's not their friend or on their side while Richard, Carrie, David & Robin Gibb rip into them.
Cat Deeley is still not presenting enough of these live shows. Patrick has too much of the script and the important parts of these shows are always taken over by him. The main examples of this are at the start of every show when he does that walk from somewhere in the Academy to the stage where Cat is standing around waiting to say her one line verses his fifteen and also during the announcement of the results of the vote. Patrick lists every students name and all Cat does is stand and wait for it to be over. She should be presenting as much and even more of these shows as Mr. Kielty. Last winter and in March during the Comic Relief does Fame Academy Cat was presenting so much more of the show than she is now. She is surely paid the same but her role has been greatly reduced.
It would be nice for the very final show to be in TV Centre or something so there can be a proper audience.
EDIT
Banner just popped up, Richard is to give them a dressing down at 4pm tomorrow.
Plus Barry is being a miserable sod and is having a spat with Louise and Carolin. It seems to have started after the VT on Wednesday when they were talking about him and he was pulling faces when they won tickets to Tomb Raider and when Paris asked whether Jenson would be there he went "he probably isn't famous emough." bitter.
tsk @ school - I've been enjoying watching the live stream all day.
This is such fun, a live conversation between Kat and Hyma - one who never watched ITV1 and another who won't watch ITV1 because they saw sense and scrapped a s h i t t y daytime soap opera that nobody watched or gave a s h i t about.
