The face painting last night was quite cute. Paris was reluctant because he didn't want his beautiful face mucked up.
He's just had his "word" with Kevin and methinks by Kevin's disgusted tone of voice and the audio cuts and the looks of horror on the students faces it didn't go down well.
Serves him right. He knew what he had to do in Fame Academy. heehee
EDIT - He's been sent out - he's sitting in the dining room now - heehee.

Just seen this on another website, and maybe it would provide impetus for 'sticky' status for this thread?

'Fame Academy' ratings finally on the up
Fame Academy showed signs of making a ratings ascent last night, reaching a new series high and beating ITV.
The main show, screened over an hour from 8pm, drew an average of 3.9 million viewers and a 20.7% audience share, up 600,000 on last Wednesday.
An Only Fools and Horses repeat immediately after averaged 6.0 million viewers, providing a strong inheritance for the Fame Academy results show at 9.40pm. The 20-minute programme pulled in 5.5 million viewers and a 27.1% share, beating the first half of ITV1's Wednesday night movie Instinct, which had 4.9 million (24.0%).
Last week the reality show was blamed for BBC One's lowest weekly ratings share this year.

I just don't get Fame Academy this year. It's supposed to be a reality show - Pop Idol meets Big Brother - where the students interact and are put through their paces by the teachers. But the vast majority of the viewers (those watching on BBC1) don't even get to see any of this. Instead, it's basically just a cheap-looking, twice-weekly version of the Pop Idol finals.
The ratings weren't great for the reality tv bits last year, but that's because the BBC made the mistake of only showing them a couple of times a week. As a result, the viewers didn't get the chance to engage with the contestants like they did with the nightly Big Brother. But now, instead of rectifying this and putting the programme on more often, they've gone in the opposite direction and trimmed it right down. So now the whole 'Academy' thing is almost totally irrelevant to most of the viewers.

Oh I agree there - the updates should come back. It's fair enough having it on BBC3 every night but it should be on BBC1 at least once every two days or so.
Well Lorna is out - shame really although she is really a muscial person.
So now it's back to once a week so it should come closer to last year's format.

I have lost my faith in the voting public - Lorna was one of the best ones tonight and should NOT be the one leaving the Academy tonight - James, Alistair and Gary sounded almost the same as each other and it should have been one of those doing the walking. Most of the voters have as much judging accuracy/instinct/intelligence as a sprout!!
I feel rather peeved.....

oh I know. I won't have a word said against my Alastair though.
Anyways - I was shocked my Peter's perfomance. What a good voice he has when he actually sings.
I would expect it might get better after Saturday as it goes back to a week for each song and therefore there is more time for them to learn their songs.
I did enjoy Gary's little comeback at Richard though. Naturally I was one of them people he was singing to.

I'm beginning to wonder if Richard gets flustered if the students begin to go ways that he hasn't anticipated, like challenging the mental image Richard has in his mind for each of them. Maybe Richard should try to be a little bit more flexible and open-minded about his student's wishes and wished-for destinies, to work with them rather than against them...
