At 02.29 last night there was at least a 20 second long BBC ONE ident, followed by the generic N24 ident for 10 seconds and then the N24 'RDS Winner 2001' ident into the 02.30 headlines!
Unfortunately I failed to record it! Did anyone else manage it!?
Well coming up to 11.00 pm, we had a long countdown, I switched it on at 77 seconds. I really do love the long countdowns.

As corrected by Mike, it was in fact Irish 6 and had some BRILLIANT cutoffs in the middle, similar to some of the discontinued 'fast' idents, except it was further into the ident.
Thank god I set the VCR last night! What a great tune to that ident and, as Mark said, nice cutaways. I'll get the w/s version uploaded soon....I leave the forum for a day and all hell breaks loose with it! Please bear with me!

It was Irish 6 that was shown NOT Irish 7. The whole ident lasted around 20 seonds with an announcment towards the end.
Thats one of only a few idents I have to capture for the BBC One page at Identz!
