Could you confirm that its *not* anything related to a court-case - there are a couple of things going on at the moment (e.g. the Lynn and Megan Russell murder trial) but presumably there's no way the outcome of a court case could be leaked, what with reporting restrictions etc?

And this is a UK story presumably..

Sorry for asking these questions but its fairly inevitable you will get them whenever you post anything here.. Smile

I'm sorry but I don't want to reveal anymore, I really hope what I know isn't true but who knows until its revealed on TV.

Well will it call for the sombre titles to be used or not?!

They 'whoever they are' must be covering this up. How did your sources obtain this information?

Yeah as the other topic says the BBC don't seem to know about this - unless it's being kept very hushed up...

If it was that important, the news networks would break it AS IT CAME INTO THE NEWSROOM.

Unless planet Earth is awaiting an address from the US President of an imminent colision with a comet?! Wink

But maybe they have been told not to say anything just yet. I don't know. I hope to God I haven't made a fuss over nothing. But my source definatley said there would be some major breaking news which I cannot reveal.

Well will it use sombre titles?!!! Is it sad or not. You don't have to tell us details, just is it sad or not!

I don't honestly know. RElaunch what was the news you might have had to go to work for about - PM me if you can't say anything.

This is not a joke (not unless my sources are playing a very horrid joke - v.unlikely). I have no idea when it will break.

According to my matey at BBC News, none of the Orbit titles are used if there is a royal death. An image of our national flag with a dark purple background is shown accompanied with the national anthem.
