I hope you're not referring to teleonline. He only told us the news as he heard it. He didn't want to tell you at first. If however, you are talking about the person who told teleonline, then I agree with you.
I'm afraid there are always gonna be rumours about the QM until she goes. Which seeing as she's 101 will be sonner rather than later. Just before christmas there was a report confirmed by the editor of a major mag that she had died, and all the Royal correspondents were called in. It was wrong
All this week there have been rumours flying, one very reliable source has been told days rather than weeks.
However when it does happen, don't expect much of a warning on here on anywhere else.
As soon as it is confirmed by an authorative source such as AP then all networks will break it. They are unlikley to break it before a confirmation in fear of getting it wrong.
Don't expect the Breaking News Bug on the BBC either. Don't know about sky
I have been asked to include this as a final reply to the topic.
'I am very sorry about all the confusion yesterday about the Queen mother. It is now obvious that there has been no Royal death. It was pure speculation.
Once again I am very sorry.

Good. What a relief eh! Come to think of it, the Queen Mum wasn't MENTIONED on the news that day! Asa, I think this topic has served its course, so why is it still open?
