Ex ITV announcers

Former GMG North announcer, Bob Preedy is now running community station, Tempo 107.4 FM in Wetherby. He can also be heard hosting the station's Breakfast Show.

They've got an expensive-looking website too.

As already mentioned earlier, Glen Thompsett does Meridian News in the South East, though I've seen him do a couple of the pan-regional Meridian News bulletins at weekends. I am a big fan of GT, not just because he has the same name (albeit me having an extra N).

Malcolm Brown (TVS) does voiceovers for Vector/Screenshop. I heard him doing the voiceover for a programme on the Swiss railways the other day, though it was copyright 1998.

Does anyone know what Dilwyn Young-Jones (HTV Cymru Wales) does nowadays? Does Arfon Haines-Davies still do ITV Wales programmes?

Arfon Haines Davies still does regional programmes for ITV Wales. No idea about Dilwyn, he left a while before the Wales announcers were axed.
