Its been ages since the demise of the LNN/YTV announcers, where are they now ???
Mark Lipscombe is reading the news somewhere, but what about the rest ???

Love to know what's happening to COlin Weston and Andrew Brittain from Granada - I know this is bias but I feel that Granada CA's were probably some of the best around!!!!
Former GMG announcers - Kerry Gosney is now Presenting the weather on Border,Tyne Tees,Granada,and Yorkshire.Helen Aitken is now an announcer on BBC 7.I think that Bob Preedy has a radio show somewhere .Not sure what Maggie Mash does now (i wished she would make a comeback she was my fav) there were two other announcers on the team another girl with an odd kind of accent and a younger guy not sure what they do now.
As for the old Border announcers i have not got a clue .Sussanah,Heather and John used to just read the short news bulletins after continuity moved to Leeds but they don't do that now.
Have no idea about the other ITV announcers although i find ITV1 Border very dull now .

Peter Tompkins (Carlton) was freelancing and doing voice-over work. He has also gone back to his radio roots with some shows on Touch FM in the Midlands
Trish Bertram (LWT) and Ted May (Central) are announcing on Five.
Graham Bannerman I gather is back on the radio fulltime.
Shocking that ITV Bosses have moved Graham Rogers and Paul Seed to pre-recorded ITV 3 - without doubt the best announcers from the original Network Team and should be back on the live ITV1 Shifts in my opinion.

I actually think the male voices on ITV3 are perfectly suited to the channel. They compliment the programming and add the right tone. Far better than when the younger voices were used in the old 'blue ident' era. The channel has a very comfortable feel now.
ITV1 have had an older female voice on for the past couple of nights, she's actually not too bad. Far better than the usual grating females anyway.

I know Colin now works in retail, not sure about Andrew Brittain though sometimes heard on radio commercials.
I think the legendary Charles Foster also does some voiceover work.
