Talking of Big Brother, Teen Big Brother is currently running weekday mornings at 9.30am on C4. Not to different to the October broadcasts, just no Dermot O'Leary.

Big Brother Auditions: Coming to a City Near You
31-Jan-2004

This year Big Brother wants to see as many potential housemates as possible, so we've made it much easier for you.

There's no need to send in an application form or get your mum to video you, all you need to do is turn up at one of eight open auditions in seven different cities up and down the country and show Big Brother why you should be chosen to take part.

The auditions will be held from February 14 to March 14 in a different UK city each week (see the venue list below), starting at 9am each day. The production team will be scouring the queue to find people that they’d like to see more of, so while we can’t guarantee that you’ll get through the door of the audition rooms, you will be seen by one of the team – even if you’re at the back of the queue.

As usual, anyone over 18 who is available this summer can audition - both couples and indviduals are welcome. You’ll need to take some form of photo ID as proof of your age and identity, and it may be a long day, so make sure you’ve got something to eat and drink and something warm to wear.

For more details on the auditions, read the Big Brother Auditions FAQ.

So no one from here is applying then - I think that's probably a plus then. Davina's back on Saturday on ITV1 with Love on a Saturday Night.

Also, has anyone seen any Big Brother application details on C4?

Saw the trailer for the auditions for the first time yesterday (can anyone upload it). It's basically the grim reeper searching for people, with a voice over questioning if you've got what it takes. It then finds a... chicken.

"No Room for Chickens".

Also, Teen Big Brother aired this morning at 11.30am - 1st episode, after 2 weeks at 9.30am. Is it now airing daily or weekly in this slot.

No doubt that Channel 4 will do a pop idol and make 2 or 3 shows about the best and worst auditions and E4 show all the audition footage 24 hours a day like the past 2 years where they showed the best and worst applicants videos.

Hopefully not - that's not what Big Brother is about. Hopefully it'll just be a short feature in the launch episode. However, for series 3 they did show audition footage in a special show after the series.

Over in Sweden it looks like they've had their first eviction and that the dividing wall splitting the house into 2 has been removed. Can anyone offer any more information?

PS: Any good worldwide Big Brother website would be appreciated.

Three ex-Big Brother stars appear on fives ultimate reality show, Back to Reality.

Jade from BB3, Nasty Nick from BB1 and the winner of BB1 Craig.

Interestingly, for a show billed as the reality champions of champions, Craig is the only contestant to have won a series. And as for Maureen Rees - didn't Driving School kick-off the docu-soap genre, not reality TV.
