Great minds think alike! I just posted something really similar! Maybe the BBC should start taking notice of what WE their financial providers, are saying!

Yeah - you just beat me to it! Either this - or just ban telephone voting and just have a proper jury as it was back in 1997 and before. I am sure Terry Wogan would be happy with either of these 2 choices.

Harry Hill would be a great replacement but what's the betting it will be onathan Ross or Graham Norton?

It'll just be on BBC Three with Paddy and Caroline if Wogan goes. Then the UK really will send in some tripe music. The likes of Chico or ex-soapstars etc.

Sir Terry didn't sound positive, he said that him and Kevin Bishop might have to discuss pulling out. I realise it's Kevin Bishop's last day. On various forums people have suggested a Western European Song Contest, with the Eastern European dominance which is now happening. I used to embrace our Eastern European brothers but maybe now there's too many of them. To be honest pulling out maybe the only option, I don't want us to but maybe there's a limit.

They should just split the contest into 2 parts. Western Europe and Eastern Europe, when was the last time the winner was a traditional western european country?

Depends what you mean by "traditional western European". Technically, Finland and Greece have been participants for years, and both of them have won within the past few years.

They already took Chico with them.

I suppose I shouldn't have expected anything better than the BBC pulling out of the feed before the end!

On another note, I'm really surprised that Sweden was the wildcard in the 2nd semi and they did so badly in the final, yet random other countries did so well!

Have you just revealed something that was supposed to be embargoed until tomorrow?
