What with all the fireworks, our license fee is literally going up in smoke.

If the Big pulled out then this will go to pots, I think we need to introduce the regional Semi - final to help give anyone east AND WEST have a fair chance at this!

Well the viewers can't be watching in the hope that the UK will win (or even put in a decent performance) as it's been this way with the voting for some time now. So, perhaps on that basis, they'll still watch even if the UK are not represented.

The contest needs radical overhaul. Whilst it remains unchanged, time to pull out of the big 4, withdraw the funding, become one of the minor participants.

Have to reiterate what others have said, I do believe Terry is truly devastated and a bit miffed about the whole voting alliances. I get the feeling that with his producer leaving too, that will be his last Eurovision commentary.

I reckon they should try going through the semis route next year, just for the single year.

They'll not get through to the final if recent years are anything to go by.

It'll be interesting to see how ratings slide with no UK. If not by much, pull out altogether.

I'd been thinking that Tel was subdued the whole way through. Dead-last for the song we put in shows just how pointless the whole thing is.

I really do believe that the UK should stop their funding to it. It starts to look ridiculous for us when we're bottom of the table every year. A big reason is possibly due to the fact we're always in Eurovision and never compete fairly to get in the final, so perhaps we should withdraw our funding, compete like the other countries who don't contribute much and see what happens.

Well that was my impression also, he said how good his perfomance was (and not in a tounge-in-cheeck way he had done the last few years).

I wouldn't be suprised if he doesn't bother next year, especially seeing as we had a good song (bloody hell never thought I would like an Eurovision song)

If France and Gemaray goes the same way who would pay for it?

Terry generally liked Andy's song and I'd agree - it wasn't tongue in cheek like Scooch, Daz etc.. where he could just accept the political bias and come back next year all been well. I think Terry was hurt by the failure tonight especially all the work his producer apparently does.

Greece and Sweden were robbed! I honestly think we should stop funding it.
