I love the whole Eurovision thing but not so keen on these dancing shows, so I look forward to seeing this tommorow night it's live from Television Centre (not as big as usual Eurovision venues) with Graham Norton and Claudia Winkleman not sure if there will also be a commentry if there is Id like it to come from Paddy O'Connel (doubt that). Len Goodman and Bruno will providing opnions.

Im hoping Tumble Tower will give his reviews on every act as he did for ESC 2007.
It all starts at 8pm Saturday 1st September (today).

What do you mean by Dance X? - Isn't the US version of Strictly Come Dancing (i.e. Dancing With The Stars) still being shown on BBC1!!!

How much longer before we get the Oz version, the Dutch version et al all on BBC3?????

I wait for the time when it's introduced like the BBC World Service.

"This is London."

Couples start dancing to a jazzed-up version of Lilliburlero . That'd make my day.

As a keen fan of the Eurovision Song Contest since I was a kid, I for one will DEFINITELY watch Eurovision Dance Contest, to see how that compares. Might even join in and copy the performers Rolling Eyes

Will you be uploading any videos of your dancing to You Tube? I'm sure I can't be the only forum member who would like to see that.

Well I have the following equipment:
Camcorder: Sony Handycam CCD-TR425E (eight years old)
PC: Packard Bell PB 1050, with 1GHZ Athlon CPU and 128 Mb RAM.

I don't think my camcorder can be connected to my PC. That's what's preventing me getting anything onto my PC to upload to You Tube.

It can't compete with the X factor.

Dance 1: Switzerland - Denise and Sven
A good one to start with, plenty of spins and graceful movements. WIt would help though if tyhey were to say what type of dance it is at the start.

Dance 2: Russia
A really impressive dance. Plenty of flowing movements. Why did the bloke start in the plank position, and finish by going through the lady's legs before reaching up to kiss her?
