So it seems likely that Your Decision won’t happen next year and the act will be internally decided.
Getting a major label on board is likely to bring a more relevant and competent artist to the mix, though I’m sure we still won’t get anyone ‘well known’ given the potential to be make or break depending on how well (or most likely badly) we do.
It’s good to see the BBC take a different approach. Considering how successful this is ends up being, it could pave the way for a more currently known artist to represent the UK in a few years time.
