Some great songs tonight. Another year I think Spain could win.

I do wonder if some of the more upbeat songs may take votes off each other leaving someone like Russia or Israel picking up the votes.

Whoever wins I’m sure BM11 will be telling us why the contest won’t end up taking place.

#ESP The final contender already, it's amazing how time flies! It's the last Big Five contender of the night, Spain. Another lively catchy song, well sung. I love the background , these include what looks like coloured paint powder used for UV paint parties (e.g Oakwood Theme Park in August the last few years - which I've tried to avoid like the plague during RCCGB Mega-GLOW-Mania the last few years.), albeit graphically simulated. What's the significance of the two-level box structure. A likely top ten contender.

The staging has been excellent in what comparatively is a small venue. It looks on screen much larger.

Probably benefits from scaling it back a bit. So often the stage can look lost in the arena.

The speed of the set change between Australia and Spain was surprising, not least to Graham. Impressive stuff.

I'd almost rather watch the set changes than the postcards.

Should Iceland be showing their own number instead of a caption saying not to vote for your own country?

I don't think all countries cover up their number.

I don't think all countries cover up their number.

Probably due to the local population not being idiots.

If you'd like to vote on a poll with numerous other ESC fans, you can vote on my poll.
Go to www.menti.com and enter code 33 86 03.
You'll be asked to give 12, 10, 8-1 points to the countries of your choosing. I'll be revealing the votes after voting has closed the show.

I had to look up the exchange rate, I thought calls cost about 13 quid when I saw that, but the Icelandic Krona has a rate of 1:155

The content producer got this interval spot on! They need hiring next year. 😂

Having just voted. Prediction is the UK will finish 24th. Just hoping not for 26th and certainly not Nul Point (I can see that leading to the BBC decide to send a internally selected joke entry next year. )

Come on Switzerland. You have our votes.

Could have done without the host I feel, but entertaining all the same. Eleni's take on Verka was particularly mesmerising.
