Eurovision 2019

#SVN I loved ths song from the moment it won EMA Final 2019 (which I watched online live from the UK). Tuesday evening this is one of the songs I most wanted to qualify, and was over the moon when it wass called out. Admittedly Zala's voice is soft, but perhaps "Sebi" is meant to be sung softly. Well sung tonight, and I love the starry background. Deserves to be at least top 10, if not top 5.

I've been flicking through a few of the broadcasters and they're all blocked from outside of their respective country.

RTE, NPO1, KAN, France 2 and Een are all blocked. I thought they would have lifted the block at least for tonight.

#CYP Another lively, catchy song from Cyprus, accompanied by lighting effects. However I don't think it's as good as last year.

#NLD Now for the Netherlands, who have been strongly tipped to win for the last two months. Excellent ballad, I particularly wanted this to quafliy Thursday evening, and I think it's sung better tonight. The blue lighting adds to the atmosphere, and as a RCCGB member, I like the line "Get me off this roller coaster". This ought to win, failing that top 3 please.

I can't see The Netherlands winning. It's not bad by any means, but we've already had one or two songs that I think outshine it.

#GRC A powerful catchy song, I particularly wanted this to qualify Tuesday evening. I'm glad it did, and it was well performed tonight. I love the floral centrepiece on stage. Could be a top 10 contender, but not a winner.

Interestingly I found the Netherlands performance better than Thursday but my mum found the semi's perfromance better.
Netherlands odds have lengthened a little so the punters havent found the performance Wow. I don't think it will win the televote - it might win the jury by a margin enough to win the contest.

And my dad, not being aware Katerine is also Canadian, said she reminds him of Celine Dion.

A very catchy track and decent performance from Norway. I can see this doing well tonight.
