A PDF file is one of the simplest things to print and will print exactly how it was designed, every time, probably more reliably than any other format above plain ASCII text.

Now, if you've mangled your printer settings so your computer doesn't want to print it as designed, that's hardly the BBC's fault.

Will put in a complaint to the BBC because I do think it needs better explanations on there - there is a assumption of IT skills beyond what many people have.

I don't think you're going to get far with that complaint, think you'll be in a pretty small field. Don't think it exactly requires complex IT skills to print a PDF. I've managed to open it in a web browser and in PDF reader in about 3 clicks, and been offered a print preview that (had I a printer to hand) shows me it'd have printed exactly what I'd expect it to. Its not the BBCs fault I'm afraid, its yours.

I can't get it to open in Adobe at all. Just used whatever browser it showed up on in Chrome.
Lot's of people say TV settings are easy but we all know people with badly set 50 Inch + TV's who don't have a clue how to change setting.
Now it is time to read out the list to an elderly no computer aunt to write out country by country.

Well this is the same BBC who scrapped their website clock because people who had their own PC clock set wrong complained.

I can’t believe it’s the day of Eurovision and I’m reading about someone’s self-inflicted printer issues in a Eurovision thread.

You sure the Russians weren’t involved in hacking your printer to cause you this utter distress?

Not self inflicted - they is a defect on the BBC website which caused the faults - it was last year when I first had the problem that I entered the print settings for the first time.

I honestly thought I hallucinated the last two pages for a second - it’s Eurovision, not bloody Epsonvision!

I managed to get it printed off with no issues.

I think you're making a mountain out of a molehill for no reason.

If the winner is determined solely by the aggregate Belarussian jury and San Marino televote (San Marino is unable to organize a televote as it's phone network is fully integrated with Italy's.) it will be very interesting. Odds are its not likely to be anywhere near that close.

Chrome auto defaults to Adobe Web so you've clearly mangled Chrome and your printer.

I doubt the BBC are liable for that...

Have printed it the other way so it misses most of the names but not the place to put the scores in - cant get it anymore accurate than that.
I use A4 paper - is that the fault? I really am not one for technology.

No. I used A4 paper and it printed correctly, first time, from within the browser.

Go on then - what's the defect on the BBC's website? Considering nobody else has yet had any issue with printing the scorecard (myself included now), I think you're going to struggle to prove it's at their end.

I’m surprised no one has mentioned the C5 programme looking back at some of the ESC low and/or bizarre moments. Naturally it had slebs pretending to remember events in amazing detail, but it was a not bad watch
