Netherlands wont win it. The song is badly sung and the staging is underhwhelming compared to switzerland russia and sweden.
I can see the ebu worse nightmare winning.

Portugal won and that was a dull as dishwater...

I'd keep an eye out for Australia if they get through and nail it on Saturday.

Portugal had a lot of charm and was much more unique - the Netherlands just comes across much worse performed than in the studio - it is competing in the same market as other similar songs and lacks stuff they do. It's a shame.

It had as much charm as a rusty spoon I'm sorry to say.

Can see this being a five horse race between, Switzerland, The Netherlands, Sweden, Russia and Australia.

I think the Netherlands might be this year's highly rated song which under-performs.

After listening to the album a lot over the past few weeks some songs improved with the performance and some remain as catchy, such as Norway with ‘Spirit in the Sky’ and Denmark’s ‘Love is Forever’.

I’ve found this performance beautiful from Shalva, showing not only how a disability should not hold people back or not be discriminated against but also how brilliant written the greatest showman soundtrack is.

The Netherlands has a very catchy part, but will that be enough to see it through?

Some I’d agree on...but... for me not Latvia, The Netherlands or Russia... but I’d like to see Norway, Romania and Croatia go through.

Have the BBC switched feeds? They just cut away while they were going to the break and briefly showed the sponsored break bumper.

I'm currently enjoying the Eurovision Song Contest 2019 Second Semi-Final. Here are my preferences based solely on all of tonight's performances:
Definitely want to qualify: Switzerland, Sweden, Croatia, Malta, Russia, Albania, Norway, The Netherlands.
Wouldn't mind qualifying: Denmark, Austria, Lithuania, North Macedonia, Azerbaijan.
Prefer not to qualify: Armenia, Ireland, Moldova.
Definitely don't want to qualify: Latvia, Romania.

So these are the ones I want to see Saturday night: Switzerland, Sweden, Croatia, Malta, Russia, Albania, Norway, The Netherlands; plus two (and no more!) of Denmark, Austria, Lithuania, North Macedonia, Azerbaijan.

Now that the lines have just closed (21:47 BST), I can reveal that I voted for Switzerland, Sweden, Croatia, Malta, Russia, Albania, Norway, The Netherlands.

My comments about tonight's songs are here:

The 2 My Heritage montages were excellent. They were the best part of Eurovision for this year.

Second time I screamed into cringed out laughter tonight. First time was Scott and Rylan's reaction to the rehearsed shock to the mind reading.
