And there's only a Would I Lie to You repeat at 7:30 before Eurovision anyway which can be dropped in the event of Penalties.

All well and good, but, there is still a chance the FA Cup Final could over-run. What would happen if it did? I know that timings are all pointing towards it not over-running, but if it does, something would need to be dropped to Red button because the BBC have also decided to air the Young Dancer final at 8pm too!

I thought that the EBU always made a point of not scheduling the contest on a day where a major sporting event took place?

Oh Lordi .... (Sorry)

Saturday Kitchen is ‘Eurovision ~Themed’ this week.

I wonder who is being wheeled out to the eurovison linked guest?
That reminds me - we haven't had the anual You Gov poll - I wonder if they won't bother due to possibly getting tangled up with the issue of Isreal hosting vs license fee payers wanting the BBC to withdraw more generally.
I hope Russia doesn't win because the UK will stand a fairly good chance of withdrawing as a result - Russia are hiding murders of a British citizen - not really a country the BBC will feel comfortable sending an entrant to a light entertainment show to.

You could just easily tell the viewers to switch to BBC Tw- But then you'd have to move Young Dancers to a later slot... hm.

I think what could've happened is that they've planned this for weeks and didn't realize Eurovision was on the same day.

There'd have to be something spectacularly wrong for the FA Cup Final to hit 2000 this year.

1700 KO First Half
1750 HT
1805 Second Half
1850 FT
1900 ET First Half
1920 ET Second Half
1940 Pens
1950 Trophy Presentation

(Worst Case Scenarios.)

Also I don't have a good feeling about the Uk's entry and expect 22nd at best. The UK really needs a good performance to help's the contest's reputation.

Wow. Australia's staging looks fantastic. It's like they are floating on air.

EDIT: And they are up on black poles. Excuse my ignorance.

Yep, annoyingly distracting - detracting from their riding huge black poles all across the stage.
