Just watching Melodifestivalen and loving the random "Holy s**t" in the Swedish language VT. Laughing

Are the Swedes really that liberal when it comes to using English swear words to express themselves? Same with the original potty mouthed version of I Can't Go On a couple of years back.

I’m not too sure where it’s coming from, but the set in use right now for The Greatest Dancer looks stunning on-screen. It’d be perfect for our Eurovision selection show.

Don’t forget the song I Don’t Give a F**k which also did well that year!

It’s LH2 where X Factor also comes from.

Massive shocker in Melfest - Malou,a girl of just 15 (but will be 16 in May) has just gone Direct To Final... but she can't half perform and the song, "I Do Me" is so fresh and contemporary.

It is such an infectious song, will be surprised if this doesn’t do well in Final.

I think it's really good. What do you make of the duet that's also done DTF? It's a bit like a teen angst version of Running Scared I think?

Ah yes, Lisa Ajax, who I think we are meeting next week or in week 4.

LH2 is a good shout for a NF location.

Duet is not for me honestly, seemed a bit cringe and less well produced than some of the others - seemed like it was trying way too hard.
Shocked about Oscar coming dead last however! Seems like it’s finally an end to the teen girl vote that takes over every year - it’s how we got Frans in a year full of amazing MF entries!

Also... it turns out #Melfest has been trending at Number 4 in the UK - outperforming The Voice UK. I don't know how #EurovisionYouDecide fared.

But on a Saturday when there's been footy on, Six Nations rugger, and two big reality shows on domestically... that's insane.

Seems that the new age profile weighting rule in Melfest has thrown up it's first odd result. The song with the least number of votes in total ended sixth, with a song which got more votes finishing seventh.

I must admit that is one thing I don't want to see make its way across to the main show.
