Liking this new format muchly. It's refreshing and keeps attention.

I agree. I thought the songs were a bit poor this year, but the more that you hear them the better and catchier they become.

Through with Eurovision that quality is not ideal as the majority of jury members and public votes do only hear the song once.

I thought that after I wrote it tbf.
Netta’s performance was amazing.

Graham’s memories showed the Calibre of competition that we have to face.

Suri’s stripped back performance has made that song even better; IMO one of the best songs that we’ve sent for years.

And a wonderful medley performance from Maans, but it shows what brilliant songs we’ve had in the past but not for a long time. I got goosebumps over the ‘Love Shine a Light’ part.

Who knows. I don't like but my mum is delighted.
Seen it said elsewhere that eurovision wasn't in colour in the UK till 1970 but I am sure I read it was also shown on BBC2 in 1968/1969 in colour - possibly not live.

Can we scrap the vote and just send Måns instead?

How do the Swedes get it so right? The medley itself was even top notch. I wish the BBC would give themselves a bloody good shake. Who exactly are they catering for with them doing it?

This is one of the 3 tracks from Darude for Finland this year. This track has been signed to Armada Music which is one of the biggest dance music labels out there.

Yet another middle of the road song. And I accept that Michael Rice had stage presence, but the song started far too low for him, and the intonation was decidedly dodgy throughout. I'd go as far to say that I think this will be bottom two.

My vote was for Sweet Lies - it had a chance to stand out a bit more IMHO.

That medley shows the problem with Britain and Eurovision. The general public will never move on, they will continue to harp on about the “good old days”. And the BBC perpetuates it with half baked, under rehearsed productions like tonight’s.

Even the medley, which was admittedly good, was a poor mans version of last weeks Melodifestivalen interval act.

I think Freaks was the only track that stood to pick up any votes (and by that I mean more than one) due to its catchy chorus. But even that chorus is clearly ripped off from Canon in D.
