I don’t think that it matters too much, Petra still turns up on SVT regularly. It just happens that her last big live show was on TV4.

I think if Sweden do win again that it would be a Petra/Mans show, by way of Edward af Sillen and Christer Bjorkman. When hopes were high last year of a Swedish win there was an interview with Mans and he said that they hoped to do one more Contest between them.

Anyway, they need to up the quality of songs at Melodifestivalen to have any chance of winning and then hosting again soon!

Thanks to Netta winning last year and being the guest act tonight ‘Eurovision You Decide’ is coming from a tiny studio in Media City with an audience of barely 300 people. All this to avoid an Israeli protests?

Granted it's a delicate situation. SuRie is singing on TV for the first time since THAT incident too so I get it... but it's still awful. Something tells me this is the last year we have a National Final.

Crap format with the judges having a lot of power and the usual BBC voting secrecy rules at the end (surprised the BBC still permitted to do so)

And While I love Eurovison i do think the BBC will find it harder and harder every year to fend off the withdrawal calls if a top 5 result does not happen - polls show the majority now back that.
This format is no good with psyhco parents - instead of one aggreviation they is potentally four.
