"Today the Israeli public broadcaster, KAN met with the EBU and Eurovision Song Contest reference group in Genema for initial discussions regarding the Eurovision Song Contest 2019
to be hosted in Israel
. Planning for next year's contest has started and, as in previous years, a decision on the host city will be made by September.
My second report about the Eurovision Song Contest 2018 Grand Final is now
available here.
This one covers an in-depth analysis of the voting.
Also included is an outline of how the results would have appeared if the 43 spokespersons had announced the televoting results first, and the hosts had announced the jury totals at the end. A direct link to this part is
available here.
#AllAboard In the aftermath of the Eurovision Song Contest 2018, a collection of statistics covering 1956 to 2018 are available here:
Eurovision Song Contest Statistics 2018
Although the UK has had a generally poor run in the Eurovision Song Contest since 1999, the UK is still one of the best countries in the history of the Eurovision Song Contest. Three league tables outlining the overall performance of all countries that have ever participated over the years are available here:

ps That's my final blog report in the aftermath of the ESC 2018 Grand Final I need to link to here.
Somebody goes to the effort of typing up a report about Eurovision in a thread about Eurovision and another user goes to the effort of posting a meme saying who cares. Hmm!

I love Eurovision. I even spent a fortune on flying to Lisbon and enjoying all six shows (jury and broadcast) for the first time in my life.
However, TT never interacts with others in the conversation and pops up to give some sort of detailed running commentary for Eurovision. He also does it for Children In Need.
It's bizarre, but I am aware it isn't actually an act.

I'm aware of what he does but you couldn't actually say 'oh my God who cares' when it's literally about the subject on this thread. I can't see the harm in it, Eurovision has many fans like that?
