Are the BBC going to pull out of the credits early like they always do?

Seems to often be the case with defending champs.
Still not a fan of this voting system - putting so much weighting on the final minute of revealing the results just makes the preceding hour a fairly pointless chore. Much more satisfying seeing the winner build their tally gradually country by country than have it revealed at the end, and as is often the case the winner was the Televote winner anyway. Indeed the jury vote being so different shows how irrelevant they are.
Portugal top to almost bottom in one year.

I should have put a bet on after posting this.
I reckon the crazy chicken lady will end up winning this year.

Absolutely. But surely the UK wouldn't have won with that Israeli song? I wouldn't want the UK to win with that tripe.
I don’t know what your problem is with it. It’s a lively creative, commanding performance and entertaining to boot.
So the theory about going in with a different type of song that won the previous year proves true. Next year we send a ballad.
Wow, what a finale. Literally down to the wire.
We explain the poor UK performance because once again we sent a poor song (despite having a fantastic performer with amazing guts and charisma) .

They did, they were definitely still scrolling - and too damn fast to read - when it cut to the Eurovision ident.
