#IRL To me this song seemed flat and lifeless on the preview video and CD, but I liked it much better live Tuesday evening, and I ended up wanting it to qualify. A beautiful ballad, well sung. I question the need for dancers in this kind of ballad though. This could do well. #AllAboard
#CYP The hot favourite to win, this is one of the songs I most wanted to qualify (and hence voted for Tuesday evening). A lively song with a great dance routine and flame effects. This could well be a first-time win for Cyprus since they debuted in 1981. Good luck Cyprus. #AllAboard
As I mentioned near the start tonight when there was the first warning to viewers, I am surprised they use them so much to a large TV audience that could be affected.
I'm sure I've read on here before that we're one of the only countries with strobe effects warnings on TV (as well as a low threshold to instigate such a warning).
Out of interest, are strobe effects likely to be worse for those watching this on HD rather than normal vision?
I would imagine it could, as any patterns would be sharper. Artefacting on SD may dull the strobing slightly?

WHY on why cant the UK still not able to text to vote?
#ITA The final song already, it's amazing how time flies. This song clearly has a message, but will some see it as a protest song (such songs tend not to do well in the ESC). Anyway, I quite like it, this is among the best songs tonight. Good luck Italy! Buona fortuna, Italia!
If this Cypriot entry wins then it's proof that sex sells.
The track this vixen is performing is nowhere close to the top ten best tracks tonight.
With respect, that's nonsense. The track that LADY performed is a hugely popular song across Europe and within Eurovision circles (by that I mean gay men).
