#FRA Another Big Five entry from our neighbours across the English Channel. It's a beautiful ballad, but there's a lot of repetition of "Mercy" at end. Ought to be top ten, if not five. #AllAboard

I feel sorry for these last few songs - everyone's still talking about SuRie.

#CZE This is only the Czech Republic's second time in the final since they debuted in 2007. Sadly I hate this song, it's one of the songs I definitely didn't want to qualify Tuesday evening. How did this dross get to the final? Armenia or Greece deserved the place this took Tuesday evening #AllAboard

I’m still shocked that just happened. I really hope we’re given the chance to sing again. Last time it happened in 2010 the invader just joined the dance but this was a lot worse.. and in 2010 Spain performed again.

French commentators getting a lot of material out of the Danish entry by calling him the Game of Thrones singer.

#DEN One of the songs I most wanted to qualify Thursday evening (and would have voted for if the UK had been voting that night), I really like this powerful song. A top 10 contender but not a winner. #AllAboard

This is good news for the UK televote.

Sympathy vote?

More than that. It’s more exposure if we perform again. It makes the act more memorable generally and hopefully people will like how she coped.
Performing later often yields higher scores too. The earlier you perform, the more likely viewers will forget you.

#AUS Say what you like about Australia in the ESC for the 4th year running, but anyway Jessica Mauboy is doing her country proud. An excellent, powerful, catchy song from down under, this is one of the songs I most wanted to qualify (and would have voted for) Thursday. A possible win for Australia. #AllAboard
