Not good news if the result is close.

Which we won’t and never know. Rolling Eyes

What I should have said is:

"Not good news if someone decides to telex a complaint to the IBA / complain to the Daily Mail."

If Annie Lenox can’t win for us no one can.

It's clearly a fan favourite - it was the most Eurovision sounding song of the lot. I don't think it was the best song though.

It was a good show but This should have been on a Saturday night on BBC1

Brilliant song. Didn’t stand out when I listened to the studio versions but it really comes alive when she sings it on stage.

Often I kid myself that our entry is good but deep down I know it’ll underwhelm on the night. I don’t feel that this time. It’s a great song, she sings it brilliantly - I don’t think we’ll embarrass ourselves for once.

I thought it was bloody awful, especially considering the talent we have in this country. But that’s my opinion!
At the end of the day we could send Adele and still fall on the second half of the table.

Rubbish.

It’s a 1 in 43 chance, pick the right song and you’ll win, whether it’ll take 1 or 53 years à la Portugal.

With a bit of extra production and some clever staging, I think we could do quite well with this. Definitely the best choice and most instantaneous song by a long shot.

Easily the best performance of the night and a deserved victor. It's not an embarrassment but won't be worrying the BBC's accountants.
