I honestly can't believe Ukraine won.

Is Ukraine even stable enough to host?

Can they even afford it?

It is weird seeing the next Eurovision thread not started by DVB Cornwall...

It really is weird, I think the new voting system has caused this...

I can't see them being able to put this on.

It'll happen, nations have a way of putting adversity to one side to make something like this happen.

National Television Company of Ukraine (HTKY) have yet to confirm whether they will host the contest.

Presumably becuase they weren't expecting to win it with such a **** song.

They managed to host last time after a period of great political unrest. Though I remember last time they had to erect a campsite in one of Kiev's public parks because they didn't have enough hotels for everyone. And the contest is much bigger now.

The Ukrainian delegation confirmed their intentions to host the contest in Ukraine during the winners press-conference.
