Don't think it will be Spain, I actually enjoyed Ruth Lorenzo last night and the song was pretty catchy as well.

Surely if it was a strong performance, that is all the more reason to have a tantrum when the song doesn't do well?

I reckon it's between France and Italy to be expressing displeasure over the voting structure and the quality of the contest - both have withdrawn in the past for similar reasons, think it was the French who described it as a "monument to drivel". Can't really remember a really decent entry from either of them in recent years.

A couple of sources (Austrian Media websites are atrocious to navigate though) seem to indicate an 'in principle' deal is already in place for Stadthalle 'D' with it's central Vienna location to host. Klagenfurt is beautiful in the summer but when I last visited was very short of hotel space in the volume needed, which seems to preclude. Graz I've never visited but seems a little Dusseldorf ish in choice.

Klagenfurt is lovely but it just doesn't have the tourism infrastructure to support something on the scale of Eurovision. There are only about 10 hotels in the entire city (no chain hotel presence), the airport only has flights to about 3 destinations in Austria and Germany and it's miles from anywhere else.
Graz is actually Austria's second city and could probably (just about) pull it off if the whole thing were done on a slightly smaller scale. It does also suffer from its relatively rural location however.
Realistically I can't see any option here but Vienna.

So who's leaving or it is just a load of crap?

Most likely nobody. Well nobody yet, anyway. The OikoTimes is known within the Eurovision fan base for spreading rubbish rumours and directly copying other websites news stories. They are also known for being very harsh towards contestants which is why Portugal refused an interview with them this year, apparently.

Founding out that Israel is in doubt joining next year's contest because IBA is closing. This situation would be looks like Greece and ERT/NERIT in this year.

Could this actually lead to an expansion? There are several Arab and North African countries who have previously refused to take part because of the presence of Israel.

Huh? North African? But it's EUROvision! I thought only countries in Europe could participate.

If they are a member of the EBU, then they can take part in Eurovision I think...I mean Russia aren't exactly in Europe, but they are a member of the EBU.

Russia is partially in Europe, however to become an active member of the EBU the country must be in the European Broadcasting Area

So any of these countries are eligible
