It's wrong of you to judge his relationship with Petra like that.
Graham Norton does not suit a beard.

Interestingly the scriptwriter was from Sweden. He had written the script for the Malmö contest in 2013.

The part where they were talking about the creation of Eurovision was almost a direct rip from what Petra said in Malmö.

To be fair, the Malmo show was pretty much the best production of the last decade IMO. Glad Petra was chosen to join Graham for this.
Graham looked like a character from Fiddler on the Roof in the wrong theatre.
I see it's an all-girl presentation lineup in Vienna then, and again they're going for a trio. Any leaks on the set yet - the get-in must have begun by now one imagines?

Yes, eurovision.tv have three images of the set in Vienna here:

The principal element is 1,288 pillars which are led lit and will accompany the songs.

He also scripted a number of Melodifestivalens (but stopped in 2013 - since when incidentally it has all gone a bit downhill) I think he created Lynda Woodruff with Sarah Dawn Finer.
Definitely a good choice - knowing but not cynical, and the show felt like a proper celebration.

Not keen on the set, it's very austere for the diamond jubilee.

I'd always reserve judgment on a set design until it is lit. That's when some sets really come to life.
I think Florian Wieder is designing it (X Factor UK, ESC Düsseldorf 2011) - his pre-vis is almost always B&W.

So record breaking ratings for the show last night - just 1.8m watching making it the lowest ever Good Friday audience for BBC1. I think even Don't Scare the Hare debuted with higher ratings than that.
Your right it got 1.93 million viewers, a 15% audience share
