So since July 2014 it has been 'in its tenth year' and will complete 10 years on air in July 2015. Then it enters its eleventh year on air! Seems reasonable to mark 10 years in the few months running up to the '10 complete years' date!
Similarly, The Jeremy Kyle Show have incorporated a '10' into their logo to show that 2015 marks the tenth year of the show. It did begin in 2005, but not until July, so it won't have been on television for a decade for just over five months yet.

I am surprised it's come to this, but it's ok since this is, or should be a one-off thing unless they win. This is the best year for Australia to actually experience being in the contest since it's the 60th. If it was any other year, I would be disappointed though.

If Australia wins how will it be decided which European city the next contest will be hosted by ?
Come to think of it, this may be our best chance of ever hosting the thing again.

The logical thing is to host it in a city in the country which came second.
